This model consists of four pairs of vertebrae and, in addition to the normal state, presents three different pathologies: a slight disc lesion, a herniated disc (prolapse) with bone degeneration, and advanced bone and disc degeneration. All vertebrae are mounted flexibly, allowing visualization of their movements.

    This set of vertebrae and discs with various disorders is the representation of 4 sets of life-size vertebrae, each with a different state of health, are visible on each model: 2 vertebrae, 2 intervertebral discs, spinal nerves. The different health states depicted here are, in model 1 (top left), normal vertebrae with healthy structure, in model 2 (bottom left), a mild herniated disc, in model 3 (top right), degeneration of bone and discs, and in model 4 (bottom right), advanced osteoporosis.

    Of superior quality and very realistic, each of these 4 models can be removed from its display base for better observation. It is an ideal educational tool for medical students and health professionals wishing to illustrate their explanations to their patients.
