    The CanidGait treadmill and platform system brings the years of experience of zebris Medical GmbH in the field of biomechanical gait analysis to the world of veterinary medicine. A complete diagnosis of the dog's gait can be carried out without further preparation. The simple-to-use PC analysis software provides scientifically sound and valid gait parameters - after automatic or manual limb assignment.

    The treadmill 

    The treadmill has a running surface of 200 x 46 cm and is suitable for dogs weighing 5 kg to 80 kg. The dimensions of the treadmill are 214 x 88 cm (L x W). The speed can be adjusted between 0.4 and 20 km/h in 0.1 km/h. The sensor surface has a size of 163 x 41 cm and includes 9,216 high-precision, robust and individually calibrated capacitive pressure sensors. The CanidGait FDM-TPROF has a scanning speed of 200 measurements per second with a measuring range of 1 to 20 km/h.

    The platform

    The CanidGait FDM 2 platform system with dimensions 212 x 60.5 cm (L x W) has a sensor area of ​​203 x 54.2 cm and includes 15,360 high-precision, robust and individually calibrated capacitive pressure sensors. The sampling rate of 100 measurements per second can optionally be extended to 200 measurements per second. Two platforms of the same type can be combined to increase the surface area of ​​the sensor.

    Measure directly on a display screen

    The treadmill and platforms are equipped with high-precision, robust and individually calibrated capacitive pressure sensors. Details of the animal are presented in slow motion, with the angle of limb joints able to be measured directly on a display screen.

    Contact forces and pressure distribution pattern 

    The analysis report presents the contact forces and pressure distribution pattern of each paw superimposed on the rolling line showing the trajectory of its center of pressure during movement. Gait parameters (step lengths, gait cycle duration, speed, cadence, position and swing phase distribution) are presented in an easily readable table with numerical values ​​and bar graphs.

    The system works with a PC


    The system works with a commercially available PC running Windows 10. It is recommended to order the system with a computer. The system can be delivered with a laptop or all-in-one touchscreen PC including a tripod

     


     

     

    Synchronized SYNCam camera

    The SYNCam camera is precisely synchronized with the treadmill's pressure measuring sensors, multiple cameras can be used in a single system. Adjustable shutter speed ensures high image quality.
