Edema is excess swelling caused by fluid trapped in your body’s tissues due to medication, pregnancy or an underlying disease — often congestive heart failure, kidney disease or cirrhosis of the liver. The gloves are made to deliver comfortable support for soothing soft tissue edema and hand joint pain, without constricting sensitive, painful hands.

Open fingertips to monitor swelling

Over-the-Wrist Edema Gloves are open-fingered gloves with an over-the-wrist length. Gloves are designed to expose the fingertips for users to be able to monitor function and swelling. The gentle compression is consistent, maintaining its tensile strength. The latex-free gloves includes seams on the outside with 15 to 25 mm HG of soft and even compression to swollen fingers and hands.

Sensible sizing by measuring hand circumference

By measuring the circumference of your hand through the thumb webbing, you can determine the best size glove for you. Over-the-Wrist Edema Gloves include sizes: X-Small (7” or 17.8 cm), Small (8” or 20.3 cm), Medium (9” or 22.9 cm), Large (10” or 25.4 cm). Gloves are sold individually for both the right and left hand. Reusable gloves are made with washable, latex-free material.
