Come practice your techniques in person!

Eligibility

This training is open to all healthcare professionals, including chiropractors.

General objectives

Shoulder problems are highly prevalent in the general population, and glenohumeral capsulitis (frozen shoulder) is undoubtedly one of the most common conditions affecting this joint. Shoulder stiffness is indeed very frequent, particularly in an aging population, but is it truly capsulitis in all these cases?

This course aims to demystify this still poorly understood diagnosis and to provide clinicians with the tools to effectively treat the different forms of shoulder stiffness.

Based on the latest data on the subject, this training is first and foremost very practical. It focuses on treatment techniques and appropriate exercises to optimize the results of the practitioner's interventions.

Following this training, you will be able to:

  • Diagnose glenohumeral capsulitis in a patient and differentiate it from simple stiffness.

  • Understand the pathophysiology of capsulitis.

  • Recognize the stage of the pathology to better target the appropriate treatment based on evidence.

  • Implement the most effective manual therapy techniques for the treatment of shoulder stiffness.

  • Select and explain the most relevant exercises to increase shoulder mobility.

  • Modeler le plan de traitement selon le stade de la pathologie ainsi que l'irritabilité et les réactions du patient.
