Eligibility

This training is for all healthcare professionals who have the right to assess and treat the neuro-musculoskeletal conditions of their clients.

General objectives

  • This course is designed for clinicians who wish to become more effective and efficient in the assessment and treatment of pathologies found in the hip.

  • An update on differential diagnosis and treatment of the lumbopelvic hip region, based on the trainer's extensive clinical experience and the latest scientific literature, will be offered.

Specific objectives

  • Understand the important links between the hip, lumbar spine, and sacroiliac joint.

  • Perform differential diagnosis of classic pathologies encountered in the hip region (femoroacetabular impingement, tendinopathies, microinstability, etc.).

  • Master the lumbar scan (lumbar, sacroiliac, and coxofemoral assessment).

  • Practice certain specific and clinically effective treatment techniques for the lumbopelvic hip complex (strengthening exercises, mobility exercises, preferential direction, myofascial techniques, etc.).

  • Know the scientific evidence on the assessment and treatment of pathologies of the lumbopelvic hip complex.
