This training is offered to physiotherapists and physiotherapy technologists.
This completely redesigned and updated course includes:
Clinical reasoning sessions with case studies
Theoretical portions on the latest scientific evidence in terms of clinical management of neck pain and practice sessions of assessment and treatment techniques
A televoting system will be used to solve clinical cases and to issue your diagnostic hypotheses and intervention ideas
General objectives
Clinically apply the best assessment and treatment methods for the cervical region, taking into account the biopsychosocial aspects influencing the painful condition of your patients.
Specific objectives
Understand the clinical impacts of central nervous system changes for patients with chronic neck pain.
Apply the best diagnostic tests and measures, taking into account the clinical context and scientific data, to effectively classify your patients with neck pain.
Classify the different types of neck pain according to a clinical algorithm informed by evidence and taking into account the biopsychosocial model.
Apply and master the treatments used in physiotherapy for each class of neck pain according to the clinical context as well as the level of evidence for the effectiveness of these treatments.
