He has always worked in a multidisciplinary setting with a diversity of health professionals. He currently continues his career as a clinician and manager at the Centre de Médecine Sportive St-Sauveur, where he practices in collaboration with other highly experienced clinicians who share his passion.
A graduate of the FIT for GOLF Level 4 program, he also received his musculoskeletal sonography training in Florida. Among other things, sonography has allowed him to add more depth to his expertise with his patients.
In addition to having been involved in numerous regional, provincial, and international sports competitions over the years, Jean-Luc has been teaching physiotherapy students and other health professionals for many years. A frequent speaker on sports injuries to various interest groups, he is involved in continuing education in the Atlas Médic program, presenting a three-level training course.
Thanks to his background as an athlete, his post-graduate training, and his experience in a multidisciplinary clinic, Jean-Luc has developed sharp expertise in the area of thoracic and neuropathic problems responsible for complex clinical pictures that often baffle clinicians working in musculoskeletal practice.
Jean-Luc presents a different vision on recalcitrant pain and offers a process of analysis and clinical reasoning that can allow the clinician to better understand and intervene more appropriately. This training will certainly allow you to improve your clinical effectiveness and your daily enjoyment of your profession, with a passion rekindled by the discoveries you will make during his training days.
Level 3 of this training offers the clinician a clinical integration day where clinicians can become familiar with the concepts taught in the first two levels by meeting real patients through a complete process of evaluation, clinical reasoning, analysis, explanation, treatment, advice, and exercises. The opportunity to practice certain treatment techniques more extensively will certainly allow you to intervene more appropriately with your patients.
