Fraud prevention policies
Offering our clients a secure transactional ecosystem is a key priority at Atlas Medic. We make every effort to limit fraud committed by email, social media, phishing and pop-ups, as well as at delivery.
We put safety nets in place for this purpose, to limit both actual fraud and the potential for it. We reserve the right to ask questions, take specific measures and investigate every transaction.
We reserve the right to ask questions when you complete your first transaction or whenever we deem it necessary, in order to validate the transaction as non-fraudulent. We may ask for any of the following:
-
Full name
-
Signature
-
Business address
-
Home address
-
Banking information
-
Name and contact information of your bank account representative
-
Copy of your credit card
-
The customer service phone number for your credit card issuer
Atlas Medic is willing to take steps to verify, validate and match the information received. Should there be any doubt, we reserve the right to suspend or cancel a transaction, or take other similar action.
Atlas Medic retains full authority to document each fraud prevention investigation, and will not hesitate to report the fraud case to authorities with jurisdiction, such as the Canadian Anti-fraud Centre and the police.
