    Using the Heartstart OnSite AED is simple

    Pulling the green handle powers on the defibrillator and activates the voice prompts. These prompts are synchronized with your actions to guide you through the entire process, from placing the electrodes on the patient to delivering a defibrillation shock.

    SMART electrodes

    The HeartStart on-site AED uses "smart electrodes"... the electrodes are "smart" because they detect when they have been removed from the cartridge and when each one has been applied to the patient, adjusting the voice instructions to your actions.
