    Active-passive exercise device V3

     

    The new MedUp V3 is a smart ergometer useful for training the upper and lower limbs. It allows users with varying degrees of motor loss to regain function in a safe and suitable environment. The MedUp V3 is equipped with a device that tracks exercise status in real time. It allows the user to choose between passive, assisted, active-assisted, or isokinetic exercise modes.  

    It features five training modes (passive training, constant speed training, training, active training, and fine motor skills training) and a spasticity control function. The system can automatically transition between three different modes—passive training, assisted training, and active training—depending on the patient's condition during training. 

    Multiple Modes

    • Active Mode: The patient voluntarily pedals with or without resistance, without motor assistance.

    • Isokinetic Mode: The speed is fixed, and the resistance is variable and adjusts according to the patient's strength.

    • Passive Mode: A motor can be programmed to mobilize the limbs of users who are partially (or completely) deprived of muscle strength.  

    • Active-assisted mode: The patient with residual force can voluntarily participate in pedaling with the help of motor assistance.

    • Fine motor skills training: The fine motor skills training mode is designed to train hand-eye coordination.

     Active-passive motorized trainer suitable for various conditions: limited mobility, wheelchairs, traumatic brain injury, Parkinson's disease, cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis (MS), muscular diseases such as muscular dystrophy, cardiovascular problems, arthritis, and osteoarthritis.
