The TeWa coated needle is coated with an FDA-approved bio-internal silicone microlayer. This method reduces insertion friction and allows the practitioner to sufficiently insert the needle while minimizing patient discomfort. The Safe-T-Sleeve ™ was created to solve the problems associated with inserting longer needles into dense or tight tissue, including the possibility that the needle will bend and difficulty stabilizing the stem. With the Safe-T-Sleeve ™, it is now possible to complete the insertion to the target depth, all without compromising the sterility of the needle shaft.
